Book of Dilemmas for Designers

How to better understand your end-users through their dilemmas?
How to know which dilemmas are the most valuable?
How to generate design ideas to address such valuable dilemmas?

This booklet provides a visually engaging overview of what it is like to design with dilemmas. My main goal with this booklet is to support understanding the phenomenon of dilemmas from a psychological perspective and in creating ideas for new products or services to address these dilemmas in a meaningful way. In this way, you can bring a unique human-centered design perspective to your work.

Please note that this booklet is one of the outcomes of Deger Ozkaramanli’s PhD research. For original findings and insights, you can refer to the PhD thesis titled: Me against myself: Addressing personal dilemmas through design.
